الوكالة الدورية Irrevocable power of attorney to sell

Power of Attorney enabling someone in Palestine to sell land or real-estate.

Any Power of Attorney containing the selling of a property or land can only be done in person at the Palestinian General Delegation in Ottawa.

Requirements:

The person who intends to give an irrevocable durable special Power of Attorney has to provide the following documents:

1- Filled form Typed (not handwritten and specify amount received for sale)
2- Original Land registration, authenticated by the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. (issued no more than one month prior to submitting the application)
Note:Name on Land registration has to match ID otherwise a court order authenticated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirming applicant’s identity is required.
3- Proof of inheritance if the property is not registered under the applicant’s name.
4-Your Valid Palestinian Passport or your Palestinian Identity Card. (If using on the application).
5-Your status in Canada or a Valid Canadian Identification if using on the application (i.e.: PR Card, Canadian passport/citizenship, Refugee status ).
Note: If you are using your Canadian ID you have to enter your name on the POA as it appears on the passport in Arabic and in English as an addition if you would like.
6-Fees: 400 CAD 

* 10 CAD will be added for every additional signee. 

*Fees are collected in the form of a money order payable to the Palestinian General Delegation.
When Sending by Mail, you must supply:
7- Copy of the ID of the authorized person.
8- Copy of the buyer’s ID.
9- A proof of address and a pre-paid registered return envelope (if submitted by mail).

The application can be submitted:

• In person at the Palestinian General Delegation in Ottawa by scheduling an appointment by phone or email.
• By mail: first, Document must be signed in front of Mr. Fadlo Mekhail, the Delegation's employee in Mississauga, then mail the documents to “Palestinian General delegation”. A prepaid registered return envelope must be included with the documents.

Note:

• You are requested to include proof for any information mentioned in the body of POA, such as Land registry, Hasr Erth, death certificates…etc.
• The land/property owner’s name on Land registration must match with the ID used for the applicant.
