Passport Issuance/Renewal (إصدار أو تجديد جواز السفر )

1- Fill out the attached passport renewal form in typing, (not handwritten). (For minors, father and mother must sign designated field)
2- Your Palestinian passport and your Palestinian identity card.
3- Birth Certificate (If applying for the first time)
4- Your status in Canada or Canadian identification (i.e.: permanent residence or the Canadian passport/citizenship)
5- 2 personal photos 4x6 cm with a blue background. One photo must be stamped onto the first page of the Passport Renewal application. (Photography studio, date and name should be written on the back of one of the photos).
6- Certified proof of profession(Job Title) or confirmation of enrollment in school. (Dated no longer than a month from the date of submitting the application)
7- Fees: $120 CAD in form of a money order payable to “Palestinian General Delegation”
8- A proof of address and a prepaid registered return envelope (if submitted by mail).

Note:Original Palestinian passport can be sent with the application or sent separately when the new passport is issued. We will not be able to deliver the new passport before canceling the old one. The issued passport must be collected in person by the applicant if a return envelope is not provided or by sending a signed and authenticated affidavit if someone else will be picking it up.

The application can be submitted:

• In person at the Palestinian General Delegation in Ottawa by scheduling an appointment by phone or email.
• By mail: first, Documents must be signed in front of and notarized by one of the approved signees, then mail the documents to “Palestinian General delegation”. A prepaid registered return envelope and a proof of address must be included with the documents.

Applicants are only eligible to apply for a Palestinian Passport for External use (With no Identity card) if they do not hold any other travel document or passport and are unable to apply for one.

3- Letter from the applicant stating the reasons why he/she are applying for an external use passport and confirming they do not hold any other form of travel document. (the letter must be signed in front of one of our approved signers if not applying in person at the Delegation)
4- Travel Document. (وثيقة لاجئ)
5- Birth certificate.
6- Your status in Canada or a Valid Canadian Identification (i.e.: PR Card or Refugee status ).
7- 2 personal photos 4x6 cm with a blue background. (Photography studio, date and name should be written on the back of one of the photos).
8- Certified proof of profession or confirmation of enrollment in school.
9- Fees: $120 CAD in form of a money order payable to the Palestinian General Delegation.
10- A proof of address and a prepaid registered return envelope (if submitted by mail).
